Description
CD80 is involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-lymphocyte activation. T-cell proliferation and cytokine production is induced by the binding of CD28, binding to CTLA-4 has opposite effects and inhibits T-cell activation. BioVision’s CD80 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human CD80 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of CD80 captured from the samples.
