Description: Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a steroid secreted by the adrenal gland with both estrogenic and androgenic properties. It is a negative modulator of GABAA receptors. BioVision’s DHEA ELISA kit is a competitive ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of DHEA in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of DHEA captured from the samples.
