Acetyl-CoA acetyltransferase 2, cytosolic (ACAT2) an enzyme involved in lipid metabolism, and it encodes cytosolic acetoacetyl-CoA thiolase. BioVision’s ACAT2 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of ACAT2 in human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of ACAT2 captured from the samples.
