Goat polyclonal antibody to TBC1D9, which also known as MDR1 are thought to function as GTPase-activators for Rab proteins. It is a P-glycoprotein implicated in the mechanism of multidrug resistance to chemotherapeutic agents. TBC1D9 functions as an energy-dependent membrane efflux pump for lipophilic compounds.

Applications Notes
WB: Experiments gave bands at approx 90kDa and 55kDa in lysates of cell line HeLa. The sum of the observed sizes equals 145kDa. This protein has a calculated MW of 143kDa according to NP_055945.2. Recommended concentration: 0.3-1 μg/ml.
