  • Background
BioVision’s SuperBrite™ ECL kit includes second-generation ECL substrates. They are highly sensitive, non-radioactive, and enhanced luminol-based chemiluminescent substrates for easy detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on immunoblots. Blots can be repeatedly exposed to X-ray film or a CCD camera to obtain optimal results or stripped off the immune-detection reagents and re-probed.
  • Test
Western Blot can be performed on tissues and cell extracts to determine the proteins present in your sample after PAGE electrophoresis and transfer on PVDF or Nitrocellulose. PVDF is more advised. The best detection method is using enhanced chemiluminescence or ECL.
  • Additional description
The detections of the targets with this kit is a type of test that can be performed on any target containing biological samples after clean up of interfering agents. The assay must be performed following the protocol.
