Little description
Our Phosphoribosylamine--glycine ligase(purD) is a recombinant Escherichia coli O157:H7 protein expressed in E.coli with N-terminal 6xHis-SUMO-tagged
-
Expression system
E.coli
-
Origin species
Escherichia coli O157:H7
-
Conjugation
N-terminal 6xHis-SUMO-tagged

Storage
For long term storage, keep the Recombinant Phosphoribosylamine--glycine ligase(purD) frozen at -20 or -80 degrees Celsius. Working aliquots can be stored at +4C for a few weeks. We recommend cycles of freezing and thawing to be avoided, as they will most certainly denaturate the polypeptide chains of the protein.
-
Shipping
The Escherichia coli O157:H7 Phosphoribosylamine--glycine ligase(purD) is shipped on ice packs.

Concept
Scope note:
A DNA amplification technique based upon the ligation of OLIGONUCLEOTIDE PROBES. The probes are designed to exactly match two adjacent sequences of a specific target DNA. The chain reaction is repeated in three steps in the presence of excess probe: (1) heat denaturation of double-stranded DNA, (2) annealing of probes to target DNA, and (3) joining of the probes by thermostable DNA ligase. After the reaction is repeated for 20-30 cycles the production of ligated probe is measured.
