DescriptionMYCN is a member of the MYC family and a protein with a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain. This protein is located in the nucleus and must dimerize with another bHLH protein in order to bind DNA. Amplification of its gene is associated with a variety of tumors, most notably neuroblastomas.
-
ImmunogenA portion of amino acids 322-351 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this MYCN antibody.
-
StorageAliquot the MYCN antibody and store frozen at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
