Additonal Description
This competitive radioimmunoassay kit is designed to measure analyte in biological fluids. (CE- marked is a declaration of conformity designating that the product complies with the essential health, safety and environmental requirements within European countries)
-
Description
ce marked 1 for diagnostic use on request, Most polyclonal antibodies pabs are raised in rabbits as rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Radio Immuno Assays are radioactive linked immunosorbent assays that even more than ELISA kits can detect very small levels of antigens. Small proteins, and hormones in blood or serum can be detected by RIAs. The result will be expressed in a XY graphic in which the ration is inverse to the signal.
-
Properties
Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.

Test
Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.

About
Rabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by Penlabs. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. Penlabs adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long. Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats. RIAs or EIAs or ELISAs for detection and quantification for specific antigenes
