Additonal Description
Tük4 recognizes the human LPS receptor (CD14). CD14 is a 53-55 kD glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein expressed strongly on the surface of monocytes and weakly on the surface of granulocytes. CD14 functions as a receptor for endotoxin and is the major receptor involved in the response to endotoxin and Gram-negative bacteria. Application: IHC (f), FACS

Properties
Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
