Long description
Human Ssu72 is a highly conserved homologue of yeast Ssu72, a CTD phosphatase and a component of the polyadenylation/termination machinery. The human Ssu72 is located on Chromosome 1p36 and seems to represent a single gene. It was identified as a pRb binding factor and was also shown to interact with TFIIB and yeast PTA1. Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were raised against SSU72 fusion protein. The ABs recognize a single band of ~30 Kda on immunoblots of various human cell lines but do not work well on mouse tissues.

Antibody s suited for
Antibody can be used for Western blotting (5-10 µg/ml). Optimal concentration should be evaluated by serial dilutions. Due to low expression of EDG receptors, we recommend use of Pierce Femto Signal substrate for western blot development.

About
Rabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by nordc. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. nordc adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long.
