DescriptionPDZ binding kinase (PBK), also known as TOPK, is a serine/threonine kinase related to the dual specific mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase (MAPKK) family. PBK can mediate cell growth through histone H3 modification. Evidence suggests that mitotic phosphorylation is required for its catalytic activity. It may be involved in the activation of lymphoid cells and support testicular functions, with a suggested role in the process of spermatogenesis.
-
ImmunogenHuman partial recombinant protein (AA 71-322) was used as the immunogen for this PBK antibody.
-
StorageThe lyophilized PBK antibody can be stored at 4oC to -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. Avoid repeated freeze/thaws.
