• Description
  Fermitin family homolog 3, also called Kindlin-3, plays a central role in cell adhesion in hematopoietic cells. Acts by activating the integrin beta-1-3 (ITGB1, ITGB2 and ITGB3). Required for integrin-mediated platelet adhesion and leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells. Required for activation of integrin beta-2 (ITGB2) in polymorphonuclear granulocytes (PMNs) (By similarity).
• Immunogen
  A portion of amino acids 117-151 from the mouse protein was used as the immunogen for the Kindlin-3 antibody.
• Storage
  Aliquot the Kindlin-3 antibody and store frozen at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized.
