DescriptionATP5H is the 'd' subunit of Mitochondrial ATP synthase complex which catalyzes ATP synthesis utilizing an electrochemical gradient of protons across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation. The ATP synthase is composed of two linked multi-subunit complexes: the soluble catalytic core, F1, and the membrane-spanning component, Fo, which comprises the proton channel. The F1 complex consists of 5 different subunits (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon) assembled in a ratio of 3 alpha, 3 beta, and a single representative of the other 3. The Fo has nine known subunits (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, F6 and 8). The ATP5H gene encodes the d subunit of the Fo complex.

ImmunogenHuman partial recombinant protein (AA 2-161) was used as the immunogen for this ATP5H antibody.

StorageAfter reconstitution, the ATP5H antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
