SpecificityThis item recognises the human Secreated Frizzled-Related Protein 1 (SFRP1), a multi functional secreted protein belonging to the sFRP family. sFRPS function as modulators of Wnt signalling and have a role in the regulation of cell growth and differentiation in specific cell types. SFRP1 is widely expressed in human tissues (though absent from the lung, liver and peripheral blood leucocytes). Research demonstrates that SFRP1 has an anti-proliferative effect upon vascular cells, delaying the G1 phase and entry into S-phase in the cell cycle. It has also been demonstrated to that in kidney development, SFRP1 inhibits tubule formation and bud growth in metanephroi. Research has also indicated that SFRP1 acts a tumour suppressor protein.

Storage_stabilityStore at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.
-
Tested_applicationELISA (EIA), Immunohistology Paraffin*, Western Blot (WB)
-
DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

AboutRabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by MyBioSource. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. MyBioSource adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long.
