SpecificityCOLLAGEN III This item is specific for rat collagen type III, binding to both native and heat denatured collagen type III. This antibody is reactive with rat kidney, liver, skin and heart, but does not stain basement membranes.
-
FormPurified (Purified IgG - lyophilised)
-
Concentration0.1 mg/ml after reconstitution
-
Storage_stabilityPrior to reconstitution store at +4 degree C. After reconstitution store at -20 degree C. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.
-
Tested_applicationImmunohistology - Frozen (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA (EIA)
-
DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
-
GeneCollagen Types in bones and muscles can be hydrolyzed and used in human grafts. ( Type II )

AboutRabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by MyBioSource. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. MyBioSource adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long. Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.
