  • Specificity
This item recognizes human growth hormone (GH), which acts to control body growth and metabolic activity. Growth hormone is a small peptide hormone released by the anterior pituitary under the control of the hypothalamus. In Western blotting a band of approximately 20 kDa is seen using lysates of human pituitary gland.
  • Form
    Purified Purified IgG - liquid
  • Concentration
    Approximate Protein Concentration: 5.0 mg/ml
  • Storage_stability
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.
  • Tested_application
Immunohistology Frozen, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistology Paraffin, Western Blot (WB)
  • Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Hormone releasing factors and releasing hormones are  signaling molecules produced by glands in multicellular organisms. The glands that secrete Luteinizing hormones LHRG and LH, FSH comprise the endocrine signaling system. The term growth hormone releasing hormone GHRH is sometimes extended to include chemicals produced by cells that affect the same cell (autocrine or intracrine signaling) or nearby cells (paracrine signaling). Human recombinant LHRG and GHRH are produced in E. coli or in yeast cells.
  • About
Rabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by MyBioSource. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. MyBioSource adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long.
