SpecificityThis item is specific for arginine vasopressin, also known as antidiuretic hormone. Arginine vasopressin, is a nine amino acid peptide secreted from the posterior pituitary in response to reductions in plasma volume and increases is plasma osmolarity. Its release triggers water reabsorption due to theinsertion of aquaporins in the membranes of kidney tubules which transport solute-free water through tubular cells and back into the blood.

FormPurified Purified IgG - liquid
-
ConcentrationApproximate Protein Concentration: 5.0 mg/ml
-
Storage_stabilityStore at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.
-
Tested_applicationImmunohistology Frozen, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistology Paraffin
-
DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
-
AboutRabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by MyBioSource. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. MyBioSource adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long.
