  cell adhesion molecules play a role in cell growth and activation and are often identified by WB or ELISA as in the PE-Linked Monoclonal Antibody Activated Leukocyte Adhesion Molecule (ALCAM). For cells, cell lines and tissues in culture till half confluency.
