Recognizes all structural proteins of human Parainfluenza Virus Type 2, 3. Minimal crossreactivity with type 1. Does not crossreact with HEp-2 cells by IFA. Species crossreactivity: Some crossreactivity with bovine Parainfluenza Virus Type 3 and canine Parainfluenza.
Purity

Highly Purified Purified by sodium sulfate precipitation and Ion Exchange chromatography.
Form

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide. No stabilizing proteins added.
Storage_stability

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
