Specificity
Mouse monoclonal antibody against the amino acid stretch of KDPRIAA (the amino acid residue 339 to 345) of the periplasmic maltose-binding protein (MBP) [Escherichia coli] (Accession #: AAB59056).

Storage_stability
Store unopened antibody at 4 degree C or lower. Under these conditions, there is no significant loss in product performance one year from the purchase date. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two months when stored at 4 degree C. For long term storage, it is recommended that aliquots of the antibody are frozen at -20 degree C (frost-free freezers are not recommended). Repeated freezing and thawing must be avoided. Prepare working dilutions on the day of use.
-
Tested_application
Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF)
-
Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

Test
Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
