  NEURON SPECIFIC ENOLASE This item is specific for human neuron specific enolase (NSE), a glycolytic enzyme that is expressed in neuronal tissue and is released as a result of damage to neural tissue. An increase in serum levels of NSE has been found in patients with tumours such as neuroblastoma.
