SpecificityThis clone recognizes the membrane anchored murine T1M protein on the surface of T helper 2 cells and mast cells. T1M appears on fetal blood derived mast cell progenitors before they express the Fce RI, on IL-3-dependent bone marrow derived mast cells and on mature peritoneal mast cells. The antibody detects T1S protein consisting only of the extracellular portion of the protein, which is secreted from growth factor and proinflammatory cytokine stimulated murine fibroblasts.
-
FormThe antibody is supplied in PBS, is azide free and purified over protein G-sepharose. The characteristics of each lot are tested by FACS analysis with bone marrow derived mast cells.
-
Storage_stabilityStore at 2-8°C for short term use. Aliquot and store at -20° for extended storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
-
Tested_applicationFlow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP), in vivo studies
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by MyBioSource they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
-
DescriptionSodium azide NaN3 is often used to prevent antibody degradation in 0,02% W/V concentrations. MyBioSource supplies azide free antibodies on request.

TestMouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
