  • Purity
Purified from human kidney cells stably transfected with full-length human MMP-7. Free of contaminating MMPs and TIMPs.
  • Form
    Supplied as a liquid in 10mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 5mM CaCl2, 0.15M sodium chloride.
  • Storage_stability
MMP-7, when stripped of TIMPs, is unstable, and must stored carefully. To avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles, aliquot and store the enzyme at -70 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
  • Properties
Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
