Description
Finger like and finger proteins are like zinc fingers small proteins with a structural motif that is characterized by the coordination of one or more zinc ions in order to stabilize the fold. Homeobox and homeodomain families. Complexes, systems, regulators, immune RNAs and non immune controls that can react with a specific antigen epitope. Associated membrane protein types are lipopolysaccharide selective barriers. Biological membranes include cell membranes, outer coverings of cells or organelles that allow passage of certain proteins and nuclear membranes, which cover a cell nucleus; and tissue membranes, such as mucosae and serosae.

Concept
Scope note:
A DNA amplification technique based upon the ligation of OLIGONUCLEOTIDE PROBES. The probes are designed to exactly match two adjacent sequences of a specific target DNA. The chain reaction is repeated in three steps in the presence of excess probe: (1) heat denaturation of double-stranded DNA, (2) annealing of probes to target DNA, and (3) joining of the probes by thermostable DNA ligase. After the reaction is repeated for 20-30 cycles the production of ligated probe is measured.
