SpecificityOne of the major signaling pathways used by eukaryotic cells to translate extracellular signals into cellular responses is the MAP (mitogen-activated protein) kinase cascade. So far, four MAPK subgroups (ERK, ERK5, JNK and p38) have been identified in humans. p38 beta is closely related to p38. They differ, however, in that p38 is equally well activated by MKK (MAP kinase kinase) 3, MKK4, and MKK6, while p38 beta is preferentially activated by MKK6.

PuritySerum Serum.
-
FormSupplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.2% gelatin, 0.05% sodium azide.
-
Storage_stabilityMay be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

DescriptionThe MAP Kinase p38 alpha (Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase p38 alpha, MAPK p38 alpha, Cytokine Suppressive Anti-inflammatory Drug-binding Protein, CSAID-binding Protein, CSBP, CSBP1, CSBP2, CSPB1, EXIP, MAP Kinase MXI2, MAX-interacting Protein 2, Mitogen-acti is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood. This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use. Cytokines and Chemokines are chemotaxis related small proteins between 5 to 20 kDa.
