  The Lipoprotein Receptor- Protein, (LRP, Alpha 2 Macroglobulin Receptor, A2MR, Apolipoprotein E Receptor, APOER, APR, CD91, FLJ16451, IGFBP3R, Lipoprotein Receptor Protein 1, LRP1, LRP-1) (FITC)[Lipoprotein Receptor- Protein, ] is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood. High and low density proteins are supplied by MyBioSource in volumes of 1. Other densities are possible. The receptors are ligand binding factors of type 1, 2 or 3 and protein-molecules that receive chemical-signals from outside a cell. When such chemical-signals couple or bind to a receptor, they cause some form of cellular/tissue-response, e.g. a change in the electrical-activity of a cell.
