Recognizes Leishmania major surface protease (gp63), a 63kDa highly conserved protein which is found at high density on many Leishmania species. Recognizes living and fixed parasites, but will not bind to denatured or improperly folded recombinant gp63.

Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
