Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from a 0.2um filtered solution in PBS containing 50ug of BSA per 1ug of antibody. Reconstitute with sterile TBS, pH 7.3 (20mM Trizma base, 150mM sodium chloride) containing 0.1% BSA, 40-50% glycerol. If 1ml of buffer is us

Storage_stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile TBS with 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Properties
Biotin conjugates can be detected by horseradish peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase substrates or anti biotin conjugated antibodies. Avidin and Streptavidin bind to the small biotin and are couple to HRP or AP for ELISA. To break the streptavidin Biotin bond we suggest to use a 6 molar guanidine HCl solution with acidity of pH 1.6.
