Description
cell adhesion molecules play a role in cell growth and activation and are often identified by WB or ELISA as in the Junctional Adhesion Molecule 1 Antibody Blot Positive Control. Isotype or positive controls by peptides, antibodies and deactivated samples. Whole adhesion and interacting molecules are present in lysates used as reference for ELISA quantification of these molecules and their subunits. Positive controls are the same as the target vector or antibody or protein and can be spiked to the sample before the analysis starts.

Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MyBioSource they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
-
Test
Western Blot can be performed on tissues and cell extracts to determine the proteins present in your sample after PAGE electrophoresis and transfer on PVDF or Nitrocellulose. PVDF is more advised. The best detection method is using enhanced chemiluminescence or ECL.
