Clonality
Polyclonal
-
Specificity
Recognizes soluble & structural antigens of the adult worm. Antiserum is not absorbed for related filarial Nematodes. Crossreactivity: Does not react with canine serum.
-
Purity
Highly Purified Purified IgG fraction to a purity of > 95%.
-
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide. No stabilizing proteins have been added. Conjugated to Biotin.
-
Storage_stability
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Tested_application
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC)

Properties
Biotin conjugates can be detected by horseradish peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase substrates or anti biotin conjugated antibodies. Avidin and Streptavidin bind to the small biotin and are couple to HRP or AP for ELISA. To break the streptavidin Biotin bond we suggest to use a 6 molar guanidine HCl solution with acidity of pH 1.6.
