Specificity
Mouse CD69/Very Early Activation Antigen (VEA), Mr 85 kDa (unreduced) CD69, also known as very early activation (VEA) antigen, is a disulfide-linked transmembrane homodimer whose differentially glycosylated subunits range from 35-39 kDa.^1,2 It is a C-type lectin, most closely related to the NKR-P1 and Ly-49 NK cell-activation molecules.^3 CD69 is widely expressed on hematopoietic cells, including lymphocytes, neutrophils and eosinophils.^1-4 Although not detectable on resting lymphocytes, its expression is rapidly (within 2 hours) upregulated upon activation of T, B and NK cells, and neutrophils.4 Constitutive expression of CD69 on subsets of thymocytes suggests that it may be involved in regulation of developmental events in addition to its role in activation of a variety of hematopoietic cells.^4,5 MAb H1.2F3 augments PMA-induced T-cell proliferation,^1,6 and induces redirected lysis of Fc receptor-bearing target cells by NK cells.^7

Storage_stability
The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2-8 degree C. The fluorescein (FITC) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C. The biotin (BIOT) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C. The R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) conjugate is supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL or 0.2 mg in 2.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze! The allophycocyanin (APC) conjugate is supplied as 100 tests in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze! The Spectral Red (SPRD) and R-phycoerythrin-Cyanine 7 (R-PE-CY 7) conjugates are supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze! The low endotoxin, azide-free (LE/AF) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of PBS. Aliquot and store at or below -20 degree C. Protect conjugated forms from light. Aliquot and freeze the low endotoxin, azide-free product at -20 degree C immediately upon receipt. Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.

Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
-
Properties
Armenian of Syrian hamster monoclonal IgGs are useful antibodies for double staining your IHC samples. Using mabs or monoclonal antibodies has a lot of advantages for Flow cytometry.
-
Test
Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
