ReactivityHuman, Rat

SpecificityClone LG.3A10 recognises mouse, rat and human CD27, a member of the tumour necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It is expressed in the thymus and spleen, but not in non-lymphoid tissues. CD27 acts as a ligand for CD70, which is expressed in T and B cells, and acts as a costimulatory signal in lymphocyte proliferation and immunoglobulin production. CD27 lacks a death domain in its short cytoplasmic tail, but can induce apoptosis by binding with the apoptosis regulatory protein Siva (also known as CD27-binding protein).

Storage_stabilityStore at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.

DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. This is against a protein of mus musculus directed antibody.
-
PropertiesArmenian of Syrian hamster monoclonal IgGs are useful antibodies for double staining your IHC samples. Using mabs or monoclonal antibodies has a lot of advantages for Flow cytometry.
-
TestMouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
