Detects bands of 50, 70 and 100kD in SPs of AD brain, but not in diffuse plaques of non-demented aged individuals, diffuse deposits in sub-cortical structures and cerebellum in AD nor in cerebral amyloid angiopathy.

Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
