FormSupplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, BSA. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Labeled with Biotin.
-
Storage_stabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Tested_applicationELISA (EL/EIA)
-
PropertiesBiotin conjugates can be detected by horseradish peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase substrates or anti biotin conjugated antibodies. Avidin and Streptavidin bind to the small biotin and are couple to HRP or AP for ELISA. To break the streptavidin Biotin bond we suggest to use a 6 molar guanidine HCl solution with acidity of pH 1.6.
