SpecificityThe peptide sequence is 90% conserved in mouse/rat, 80% in Japanese quail, chicken and 75% in frog clock protein. No significant homology is seen with PER or other known proteins. Antibody crossreactivity with Per1 from other species is not known. Control peptide, because of its low MW (

PuritySerum
-
FormSerum Supplied as a liquid, neat serum, 40% glycerol.
-
Storage_stabilityMay be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
-
Tested_applicationELISA, Western Blot
-
DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
