Storage
This protein can be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. For extended periods of time it is recommended to keep the protein frozen at -40 or -80 degrees Celsius. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing as they might denaturate the polypeptide chains. Notes: Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4 degree C for up to one week.
-
Applications
This protein can be used as a positive control for applications such as ELISA, IFA, RIA, Western Blot, etc.

About
Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.
