Host organismMouse (Mus musculus)
-
Source organismHuman (Homo sapiens)
-
Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivityRecognizes TRA-1-81 antigen at 420/250kD that is expressed on the surface of human teratocarcinoma stem cells (EC), human embryonic germ cells (EG) and human embryonic stem cells (ES). No immunoreactivity is seen with mouse EC, EG or ES cells. Recognizes antigens that are associated with a pericellular matrix proteoglycan. Reacts with an uknown epitope of a sialidase-sensitive molecule.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification methodPurified by ammonium sulfate precipitation
-
Form AppearanceSupplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 8.0, 0.05% sodium azide.
-
ConcentrationN/A
-
Storage and shippingStore the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
-
Tested applicationsWestern Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF)
-
DescriptionAntigens are peptides or recombinant or native dependent on the production method.
