Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens), Rat (Rattus norvegicus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivityRecognizes an epitope localized in the lectin domain of rat surfactant protein D (SP-D). Reacts with alveolar type II cells, alveolar macrophages, types of Clara cells SP-A+ and SP-A- and extracellular deposits. Does not react with Alveolar type III cells. No reaction on rat skin, colon, kidney or liver. Species Crossreactivity: human.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification methodAffinity Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
-
Form AppearanceSupplied as a lyophilized powder from buffer, 5mg/ml BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 500ul sterile ddH2O.
-

-
Storage and shippingLyophilized powder may be stored the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Stable for 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Prior to use, briefly centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before lid. If further dilution(s) are needed, they can be done with the appropriate assay buffer.
-
Tested applicationsELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
