Source organismHuman (Homo sapiens)
-
Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivityRecogizes the human SARS-CoV nucleoprotein. On Western blots, it identifies the target band at ~50kD. Does not crossreact with the nucleoprotein of 229E-CoV or DC43-CoV. Reactivity has also been confirmed with SARS infected MDCK cells by immunofluorscence.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification methodAffinity Purified by Protein A chromatography.
-
Form AppearanceSupplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% sodium azide
-
ConcentrationN/A

Storage and shippingStore the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Prior to use, briefly centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before lid. If further dilution(s) are needed, they can be done with the appropriate assay buffer.
