Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivityCD49f This item recognises CD49F (VLA-6 alpha chain), a 120kD cell surface glycoprotein that can form distinct complexes with CD29 (VLA beta-chain), resulting in the VLA-6 (alpha-6 beta-1) complex, which is expressed on human platelets, or with the beta-4 integrin resulting in the alpha-6 beta-4 complex which is expressed on various human epithelial cells. Clone NKI-GoH3 reacts with platelets, megakaryocytes, T lymphocytes and common Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia cells (alpha-6 beta-1). In immunohistology the monoclonal antibody reacts with epithelial cells of a variety of tissues, peripheral nerves, microvascular endothelial cells, placenta cyto- and syncytotrophoblasts.VLA-6 is an important mediator of cell binding to laminin. Studies suggest that clone NKI-GoH3 specifically blocks the binding of cells to the E8 fragment of laminin; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Storage and shippingPrior to reconstitution Keep the antibody refrigerated at +4 degrees Celsius. Temperature variations in the range between +1C to +7C are tolerable. Following reconstitution Keep the antibody refrigerated at +4 degrees Celsius. Temperature variations in the range between +1C to +7C are tolerable. DO NOT FREEZE. the antibody should be stored undiluted. the antibody is photosensitive and should be protected from light. If there is a precipitate in the vial we recommend you to briefly microcentrifugate it prior to use. Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.

DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody against the Hu protein or peptide or recombinant supplied in 1 volumes. Ask for quote if you need bulk.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C. Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.

AboutRats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.
