Chicken, Xenopus; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
  • Specificity and cross reactivity
Recognizes a 38kD nucleolar protein (NO38) in Xenopus (this protein has also been termed B23, nucleophosmin, numatrin in other species). Stains specifically the granular component of the nucleolus and small nucleolar dots in interphase cells. During mitosis the protein is localized accumulated around the condensed chromosomes. Species Crossreactivity: Xenopus laevis, Xenopus borealis, Pleurodeles walt, Triturus cristatus; XLKE-A6 cells; chicken.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
