Host organismMouse (Mus musculus)
-
Source organismHuman (Homo sapiens)
-
Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivityRecognizes human nonclassical MHC class I chain A (MICA) and nonclassical MHC class I chain MICB (MICB). Reported to inhibit the cytotoxicity of NK cells stimulated by IFN alpha-treated dendritic cells.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification methodAffinity Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
-
Form AppearanceSupplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with Biotin.
-

Storage and shippingStore the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
-
Tested applicationsImmunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C. Biotin conjugates can be detected by horseradish peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase substrates or anti biotin conjugated antibodies. Avidin and Streptavidin bind to the small biotin and are couple to HRP or AP for ELISA. To break the streptavidin Biotin bond we suggest to use a 6 molar guanidine HCl solution with acidity of pH 1.6.
-
ConjugationBiotinylated
-
DescriptioncDNA genes are a locus (or region) of DNA for functional transcript RNA or protein. An ELISA is used to detect the expressed protein in biological fluids, serum, saliva.
