Species reactivity
N/A; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
Recognizes both monomers and trimers of Adenovirus, as judged by reactivity with both boiled (monomers (62kD) only) and unboiled (both monomers and trimers (180-200kD bands)) fiber on Western Blots and by indirect Immunofluorescence studies of cells infected with a temperature-sensitive Ad5 fiber mutant (H5ts142) which does not form trimers at the nonpermissive temperature at both 32 degree C and 39.5 degree C.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification method
Affinity Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
-
Form Appearance
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.2% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Also available without BSA and azide. See A0880-19AX.

Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
