Absolute Counting StepCount Tubes are closed transparent tubes with a metal screen and a white matrix at the bottom, intended for determining absolute counts of cells in different samples (e.g. peripheral blood, bone marrow, leukapheresis and culture medium samples) using flow cytometry techniques. StepCount tubes represent a single-platform system for absolute counting, which can be combined with monoclonal antibodies conjugated to different dyes. Thus StepCount tubes permit the identification of various cell subpopulations.
