Description
Bacitracin (10 x 1 VL) by HiMedia Laboratories is a mixture of cyclic polypeptides, synthesized by bacilli belonging to Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis. It is effectively used against Gram-positive bacteria. Bacitracin is readily soluble in water as well as methanol and ethanol, this solution should be sterilized by filtering through a sterile membrane filter with a porosity of 0.22 micron or less.
