Shipping and storageMouse Monoclonal Antibody against Human CD177, Clone: MEM-166 is transported on blue ice/ice packs and should be stored at temperatures between 1 and 5 degrees Celsius. Do not freeze! Avoid exposing the product to direct light, especially the conjugated antibodies as most conjugates are very sentitive to light.

BackgroundCD177 (NB1/HNA-2a and PRV-1 form) is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein present mainly on neutrophils. Its plasma membrane expression is increased during pregnancy and and inflammation or after G-CSF application. Ligand of CD177 has been identified as CD31 (PECAM-1). CD177 participates in neutrophil transmigration and seems to be also a pro-proliferative molecule. The antibodies against CD177 can be involved in neonatal alloimmune neutropenia (NAN).

AboutMonoclonals of this antigen are available in different clones. Each murine monoclonal anibody has his own affinity specific for the clone. Mouse monoclonal antibodies are purified protein A or G and can be conjugated to FITC for flow cytometry or FACS and can be of different isotypes.
