Test principle
This EIA kit uses the Competitive-EIA principle. The micro EIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Human TMSβ4. During the reaction, Human TMSβ4 in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of Human TMSβ4 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to Human TMSβ4. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) are added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of Human TMSβ4 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Properties
MeSH E05 478 566 350 170 Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay, Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.

Scope note:
Immunologic techniques based on the use of: (1) enzyme-antibody conjugates; (2) enzyme-antigen conjugates; (3) antienzyme antibody followed by its homologous enzyme; or (4) enzyme-antienzyme complexes. These are used histologically for visualizing or labeling tissue specimens.
