Product description
The Lipoprotein Lipase (LPL) Activity Assay Set of reagents is a simple, fluorometric assay that quantitatively measures LPL activity in plasma, serum, and lysates in a 96-well microtiter plate format. Each Set of reagents provides sufficient reagents to perform up to 100 reactions, including blanks, LPL standards, and unknown samples. The Set of reagents contains a LPL Standard and has a detection sensitivity limit of ~1 mUnits/mL (see Set of reagents Components for unit definition). Besides LPL, this assay can also be used to detect endothelial and hepatic lipase activity.

Shipping conditions
The product Lipoprotein Lipase (LPL) Activity Assay Kit (Fluorometric), Trial Size must be shipped on dry ice to keep the activity and stability of the reagents.
-
Storage conditions
Store the entire kit at minus eighty degrees Celsius. Avoid multiple freeze/thaws by aliquoting. The LPL Fluorometric Substrate is light sensitive and should be maintained in amber tubes.

Scope note:
An in vitro allergen radioimmunoassay in which allergens are coupled to an immunosorbent. The coupled allergens bind the IgE in the sera of patients which in turn binds radioisotope-labeled anti-IMMUNOGLOBULIN E antibodies.
