Storage condtionsKeep the GMCSF Antibodyat minus twenty degrees Celsius for 1 year. The ready-to-use solutions can be stored at four degrees Celsius for a month. Our specialsits recommend to freeze the aliquotes at minus twenty degrees Celsius for long-term application. Multiple procedures of freezing and thawing influence the specifity and reactivity of the antibody in a negative way.
-
TipsThe GMCSF Antibody did not cross-reacted with other proteins during the test procedures. This antobdy is intended to be used for research analyses and it is not applicale for in vitro diagnostics.

BackgroundGM-CSF, Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, is a protein secreted by macrophages, T cells, mast cells, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts. By fluorescence in situ hybridization, the GM-CSF gene is mapped to 5q31.1. GM-CSF is a cytokine that functions as a white blood cell growth factor. GM-CSF stimulates stem cells to produce granulocytes(neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils) and monocytes. GM-CSF is an essential regulator of neutrophil function.
