DescriptionLXR-623 is a potent and selective LXR (liver X receptor) agonist. Reduces total serum cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, and inhibits lesion growth in models of atherosclerosis. Increases ABCA1 and ABCG1 mRNA levels in rat peripheral blood cells. Orally bioavailable.
